Election rules

File my candidacy

A candidate may run for one position only. The file is submitted online; the candidacy fee is paid in cash to the designated members of the Commission or via Mobile Money, and you are given a receipt. Documents remain confidential and are never published.

Single candidate for a post: the ballot offers “For”, “Against” or blank; the candidate is elected only with more than 50% of the voters for that post. Otherwise the post is declared vacant: the Commission reopens candidacies and holds a new election for that post within 30 days.

Eligibility conditions

  1. Be at least eighteen (18) years old
  2. Be an active TESTC member in good standing (dues paid)
  3. Live in the association's area
  4. Not be a member of the electoral committee (resign no later than filing)
  5. Pay the candidacy fee: 0 FCFA, non-refundable
  6. Run for this position only

Vice-president 0 FCFA
